Welcome to the new blog for the Mumbles Vikings U7 Rugby team. We hope the players have had a good introduction to the sport of Rugby and are now raring to put their skills into practice against other teams from in and around Ospreylia.
It should prove to be an exciting season and hopefully a successful and enjoyable one for the team.

We will usually look to train at Underhill (Usually on a FRIDAY evening 6pm - 7pm).
When the winter nights draw in and/or the weather is particularly bad we might use Oystermouth School Gym.

Membership / Subscriptions
Please maintain your £3.50 pcm standing order through the summer months for a full 12 months to continue with membership. If paying by cash or cheque, your £42 membership is due on or before the 1st September each year. Please note that if after October 15th your subs remain unpaid, your membership may be offered to the next person on the waiting list. We are permitted by the WRU to a max of 25 players but non-playing family membership is also available. Please Contact Grant on 07974747993 or gbroad@live.co.uk
Answers to some recent queries:-
ReplyDeleteTraining commences on Sunday 30/08/09 0930 hrs at Underhill Park.
Club socks will be provided free as part of the membership. Please provide your own navy or black shorts (or joggers will do).
Those choosing direct debit membership option should arrange 1st payment in sum of £3.50 to commence 01/09/09.
Remember: "No Registration = No Play" so make sure the W.R.U green registration cards are completed and returned a.s.a.p. in time for our 1st game - (ideally by end of June).
